Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Easy CleanUp handles information when you use the Easy CleanUp iOS application. Easy CleanUp is designed to analyze and organize content directly on your device.
Information Easy CleanUp Accesses
Easy CleanUp may request access to the following information only when needed for its cleanup features:
- Photos and videos: The app accesses items and related metadata in your Photos library to identify similar photos, screenshots, and large videos, and to display them for your review.
- Contacts: The app accesses contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, and contact identifiers to find possible duplicate contacts and prepare groups for your review.
- Cleanup history: The app stores the date of a completed cleanup, the number of items cleaned, and an estimate of the space reclaimed so it can display your activity history.
How Information Is Used
The information described above is used to:
- Scan your library for cleanup suggestions.
- Group visually similar photos and identify screenshots and large videos.
- Identify contacts that share phone numbers or email addresses.
- Delete photos or videos that you select and confirm.
- Merge contact groups that you select and confirm.
- Display a local record of completed cleanup activity.
On-Device Processing
Photo, video, and contact analysis takes place on your device. Easy CleanUp does not upload your photos, videos, contacts, or cleanup history to a developer-operated server.
Permissions and Your Choices
Easy CleanUp requests permission before accessing your Photos library or Contacts. You may decline a permission, although the related feature will not be available. You can review or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, or in the settings page for Easy CleanUp.
Easy CleanUp performs deletion and contact changes only after you choose the relevant items and confirm the action.
Data Storage and Retention
Easy CleanUp does not create permanent copies of your photo, video, or contact libraries. Your media and contacts remain managed by iOS and the corresponding system applications.
Cleanup history is stored locally on your device and remains there until the app or its local data is removed. Uninstalling Easy CleanUp removes this locally stored history.
When you confirm deletion of media, the request is handled by the iOS Photos library. Availability and duration of recovery through the Recently Deleted album may depend on your Photos and iCloud settings.
Data Security
Easy CleanUp limits access to the information needed for its features and relies on iOS permission controls and device security protections. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also protect access to your device and Apple Account.
Children's Privacy
Easy CleanUp is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children on a developer-operated server.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's features or information-handling practices change. The revised policy will show a new effective date at the top of this page.
